Frequently Asked Questions

Our first session is an opportunity to slow down, get to know one another, and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your experiences, what you’re hoping for, and what feels important for us to understand as we begin our work together.
There’s no need to have everything figured out or to share anything before you feel ready. You’re welcome to arrive just as you are, and to share as much or as little as feels comfortable.

Yes, I am in network with Aetna, Blue Shield Blue Cross, Cigna, Magellan, Optum, and United Healthcare. Please note that I am paneled with insurance through a practice based in San Diego, meaning any sessions paid for by insurance will be occuring through telehealth only.
If I am not in-network with your plan, you may still have coverage through your out-of-network benefits. When applicable, I can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your specific out-of-network benefits.
